Caretaker Government Increases Petrol Prices in Pakistan by Rs. 17.50, HSD by Rs. 20 . The caretaker government of Pakistan has announced a massive increase in the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) for the next fortnight, from August 16 to August 31.

The price of petrol has been increased by Rs. 17.50 per liter, while the price of HSD has been increased by Rs. 20 per liter. This brings the new price of petrol to Rs. 290.45 per liter and the price of HSD to Rs. 293.40 per liter.
